From a recent collaborator

"They didn't just record us — they helped us find what we actually wanted to say. Three seasons in, our audience retention sits at 71%. That's unheard of in our niche."

We believe podcasting deserves better principles.

Most podcast studios sell packages. We start with a question: what does your listener actually need to hear?

Honest Podcast Harmony was founded on the conviction that audio storytelling should be guided by editorial integrity, not growth hacking. We don't chase downloads. We chase resonance.

Every show we touch is shaped by a set of working principles we publish openly. If a potential partner disagrees with any of them, we part ways honestly — and that's fine.

This page isn't a sales funnel. It's a manifesto. Read it, and if it aligns with how you think about communication, let's talk.

Our Seven Working Principles

These aren't marketing copy. They're operational commitments.

I. Listener sovereignty

The audience's time is more valuable than our client's ego. Every editorial decision filters through this lens first.

II. Honest sound

We don't over-produce. We don't add dramatic music to mask weak content. If the conversation can't stand on its own, we go back to prep — not post.

III. Slow craft over fast content

We limit active projects to five at a time. This isn't scarcity marketing — it's how we maintain quality across research, scripting, recording, and editing.

"They turned down our timeline twice before we understood why. The final product proved them right." — Declan Harty, brand strategist

IV. Transparent pricing

We quote a single project fee after a discovery conversation. No hidden costs, no upsells, no "premium tier" manipulation.

V. Editorial independence

We will advise against publishing an episode if we believe it harms the show's integrity. We've done it eleven times. Every client thanked us afterward.

VI. Ownership belongs to you

All masters, scripts, artwork, and RSS feeds belong to the host. Full stop. We never hold content hostage.

VII. Measured endings

Not every podcast should run forever. We help clients plan dignified season finales and know when a show has said what it needed to say.

Alignment check If these principles resonate → start a conversation If they don't → no hard feelings. Seriously.

Capability Map

We don't sell packages. We map what your show needs, then build a custom scope. Here's what we're equipped to do.

Domain What we do What we don't do Typical involvement
Concept & Strategy Format design, audience mapping, editorial calendar Viral growth hacking, clickbait titling 2–4 weeks
Pre-production Research, guest vetting, question architecture, scripting AI-generated scripts, template interviews Ongoing per episode
Recording Remote direction, studio sessions, field recording Unattended self-recording without guidance Session-based
Post-production Editing, mixing, mastering, sound design Automated noise-gate-only processing 3–5 days per episode
Distribution RSS setup, platform submission, show notes, transcripts Paid download farms, fake reviews Launch + ongoing
Brand & Identity Cover art direction, sonic branding, trailer production Generic stock-template artwork One-time + seasonal refresh
Podcast host reviewing episode notes in a bright workspace

Voices We've Shaped

Not testimonials. Stories about what happened when principles met practice.

"We came in wanting a daily news podcast. They convinced us to do a weekly deep-dive instead. Our completion rate jumped from 18% to 64% within two months."

Aoife Mulcahy — Founder, Signal & Noise

"They told us episode four wasn't ready. We were frustrated. Then we re-recorded it, and it became the episode that got us featured on Apple Podcasts."

Ciarán O'Dowd — Host, Craft & Commerce

"Most studios wanted to sell us a 'podcast launch package.' These people wanted to understand our mission first. The difference shows in every episode."

Roisín Kavanagh — Director, Westport Heritage Trust

Editorial Note

Why we wrote this as a manifesto, not a brochure

The podcast industry is saturated with studios that promise "professional production" and "audience growth." Most of them deliver competent but interchangeable work. We wanted to do something different: lead with what we believe, and let the right people find us.

This page has no pricing table because every project is different. It has no "Book a Demo" button because we're not software. It has no countdown timer because urgency should come from your own readiness, not our marketing.

If you've read this far, you're probably the kind of person we'd enjoy working with. That's the only conversion metric we care about.

"I found their website refreshing. No gimmicks. Just clarity about what they stand for." — Niamh Daly, independent journalist
